The brief
As Hyper Island's Interactive Art Direction class of 2010, we wanted to create a class website to promote our group.
The idea
Instead of showing all the work we have done, we wanted to show our activity online, and show what inspires and motivates us. Plus, since we were all going our separate ways, we wanted to have a place where we could keep in touch with each other.
The concept
We decided to make a new digital nation called Cloudania, where we as cloudanians lived. Cloudania collects all our online activity, and presents it to the visitor to give them a glimpse of who we are and what we do.
The result
Cloudania has become much more than just a class promotion website. It's a base for all the students to see what we're all up to, and to find immediate inspiration.
Welcome to Cloudania
The homepage welcomes you as a visitor to Cloudania. We briefly explain the concept through a small movie.

Explore the nation
Find out what we're doing in real time: read our latest tweets, see movies we like, pictures we take, bookmarks we save, and listen to songs we love.

Nation Facts
Cloudania collects the last known location of all Cloudanians through Foursquare and Gowalla. And through services like Wakoopa, we can determine who's the Facebook junky of the week, who spends most time online, and which applications are becoming popular.

Citizens
The citizen page shows detailed profiles of all Cloudanians. All information is in real time collected from Twitter.
